Position: Junior Graphic Designer

Founded in 1968, Task Tools is a Canadian company that develop and produce hardware tools. Task Tools supplies product in both Task and custom packaging for many well known retail stores including Rona, Home Hardware, London Drugs, Walmart, etc.

- Produced packaging that effectively conveys the product features and eye-catching promotional materials through internal communication with product managers and sells representatives, and connecting externally with product suppliers, translators, and print shops
- Designed three-language packaging graphics, posters, pamphlet, advertisement, dealer & promotional flyers for Task, Task Signature, Tuf-E-Nuf, and private labels while following strictly to the corresponding graphics standard
- Improved legibility and visual impact by researching and creating simplified icons for packaging and flyer use
- Kept the website up-to-date by preparing, adjusting, and retaking product images, and organizing product information
- Reduced amount of repetitive work time from 4 hours to 5 minutes by using pre-existing solutions from outside source
